As a TGT Social Science Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging lesson plans that incorporate digital tools and multimedia resources. You will work closely with our IT department to ensure seamless integration of technology into the classroom, creating an immersive and interactive learning experience for our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Social Science subjects to students from Class VI to Class X
- Plan and deliver lessons that cater to diverse learning needs
- Utilize digital tools, such as Google Classroom, to enhance student engagement and participation
- Develop and maintain a well-organized and student-centered classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide educational initiatives
- Create and submit regular progress reports and assessments on student performance
- Conduct regular parent-teacher conferences to keep parents informed of student progress
- Participate in school-wide professional development programs to enhance teaching skills
- Develop and implement lesson plans that incorporate real-world examples and case studies
- Use technology to facilitate peer-to-peer learning and collaboration among students
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must possess the following qualifications:
- A postgraduate degree in Social Science or a related field
- A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree, with a strong emphasis on teaching practices
- Preferably, a TET or CTET certification, although not mandatory
- At least 3 years of experience in teaching Social Science subjects
