Role Responsibilities
The PGT Physical Education Teacher will design and implement age‑appropriate lesson plans that align with the school’s educational goals. Conduct regular indoor and outdoor sessions, ensuring safety protocols and encouraging participation across all grade levels. Manage school sports teams, coordinate inter‑school meets, and mentor students for regional competitions. Facilitate workshops for peers on innovative coaching techniques and integrate technology for performance tracking. Maintain detailed records of student progress, attendance, and skill development, and prepare reports for school management. Collaborate with faculty to embed physical activity into daily classroom routines and promote a culture of health and wellness.
Eligibility
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree and a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. A minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in a school environment is required. Preference will be given to those with TET or CTET certification, though it is not mandatory. Demonstrated experience in coaching school sports and organizing events will be considered an advantage.
Salary and Employment Type
