TGT Chemistry Teacher – Katyayan School, Kanpur Sadar, Kanpur Nagar.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver the Chemistry curriculum for classes IX to XII in accordance with the Uttar Pradesh Board guidelines. Conduct practical sessions in the school laboratory, ensuring safety protocols and effective learning outcomes. Assess student performance through tests, assignments and projects, providing timely feedback and remedial support where needed. Participate in departmental meetings, school events and parent‑teacher interactions to foster a collaborative learning environment. Contribute to co‑curricular activities such as science fairs and inter‑school competitions, showcasing student talent.
Requirements
Post‑graduate degree in Chemistry (M.Sc or equivalent) with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Minimum two years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably handling TGT Chemistry classes. TET/CTET qualification is preferred and will be considered an advantage. Strong communication skills in Hindi and English, with the ability to engage students in both languages. Proficiency in using digital tools for classroom instruction and assessment.
Eligibility
Candidates must possess a valid B.Ed/D.El.Ed and meet the experience criteria. Preference will be given to those who have cleared TET or CTET examinations.
Salary
Rs.22,000 - Rs.40,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
