Daily Responsibilities
Teach core mathematics subjects, including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry, ensuring clarity and depth in explanations. Prepare interactive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning levels while maintaining academic rigor. Monitor student progress in mathematics through regular assessments and provide timely feedback to help them excel. Engage with students individually and in small groups to address their specific learning needs and encourage critical thinking.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and implement curriculum-aligned teaching strategies that align with Yugaam International School’s academic standards. Collaborate with the mathematics department to review and refine teaching methods, share best practices, and stay updated on educational trends. Participate in school-wide events and competitions related to mathematics to promote extracurricular engagement. Maintain organized classroom resources, including textbooks, worksheets, and digital tools, to support effective teaching.
Periodic Responsibilities
Attend regular faculty meetings to discuss pedagogical approaches and school-wide initiatives in mathematics education. Conduct periodic parent-teacher interactions to discuss student performance, strengths, and areas for improvement. Prepare and submit monthly progress reports on student achievements, ensuring transparency and accountability in academic tracking.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Mathematics or a related field with at least two years of teaching experience. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification to qualify for the TGT Mathematics Teacher position. Experience in teaching students from Class 6 to Class 10 is highly preferred. A strong command of the English language is essential for effective communication with students and parents.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will be offered a monthly salary of Rs.25,000 to Rs.40,000. The Mathematics Teacher will be based in Kanpur Sadar, Kanpur Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, reporting to the school administration for guidance and support.
