Katyayan School in Kanpur Nagar is seeking a dedicated TGT Science Teacher to inspire young minds with hands-on learning in the vibrant academic environment of Kanpur Sadar. This role focuses on fostering curiosity and practical understanding in students through engaging science lessons, ensuring they grasp concepts like physics, chemistry, and biology with confidence.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with the latest curriculum standards, blending theory with experiments and real-world applications. Prepare interactive classroom activities, demonstrations, and projects to make learning hands-on and exciting for students. Collaborate with the science faculty to develop innovative teaching methods, ensuring students achieve strong conceptual clarity.
Assist in conducting lab sessions, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety protocols are followed rigorously. Support the school’s extracurricular programs, such as science fairs, robotics clubs, or environmental awareness initiatives. Keep detailed records of student progress, attendance, and performance to guide individual learning paths.
Engage with parents through regular communication, sharing updates on student achievements and areas needing improvement. Participate in school events, including science exhibitions, guest lectures, and educational trips, to enhance the learning experience. Stay updated on educational trends, teaching tools, and assessment techniques to continuously improve teaching effectiveness.
Qualifications
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Science (Physics, Chemistry, or Biology). Experience in teaching science at the secondary level is highly valued. A TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory for this position.
Experience
Proven experience as a TGT Science Teacher for at least two years in a school setting, preferably in Kanpur Sadar or similar educational hubs. Familiarity with CBSE/ICSE syllabus and modern teaching methodologies is essential. Ability to adapt teaching strategies for diverse student learning needs is a must.
