Job Description
PGT Business Studies Teacher position at Geeta International Public School in Padrauna, Kushinagar, is open for a dedicated educator to strengthen the school’s commerce curriculum. This role requires a passionate teacher to deliver engaging Business Studies lessons aligned with the latest CBSE syllabus while fostering critical thinking and practical skills among students.
Teach Business Studies from Class 11 to 12, ensuring comprehensive coverage of topics like accounting, economics, and entrepreneurship. Develop and implement innovative teaching methods, including case studies, group projects, and real-world business simulations, to enhance student engagement. Prepare and assess unit-wise assignments, exams, and continuous evaluation (C.E.) papers to track student progress effectively.
Collaborate with the academic team to integrate business studies with other subjects, such as mathematics and social sciences, to create a holistic learning experience. Maintain updated lesson plans, teaching aids, and resources to support classroom instruction and student learning outcomes. Participate in school-wide events, such as fairs, competitions, and guest lectures, to promote business awareness among students and parents.
Hold administrative responsibilities like maintaining student records, updating the school’s digital learning management system (LMS), and assisting in curriculum planning for Business Studies. Ensure compliance with school policies regarding attendance, discipline, and student safety. Act as a mentor for students interested in pursuing careers in commerce, guiding them through career counseling and internship opportunities.
Hold a postgraduate degree in Business Studies or a related field with at least two years of teaching experience in Business Studies. Possession of a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory. Experience in teaching CBSE-affiliated schools is a plus. The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs. 34,000 to Rs. 55,000, with the role based in Padrauna, Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh.
