Role
PGT Economics Teacher at Geeta International Public School, Padrauna, Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh. The position is full‑time and involves delivering the Economics curriculum to senior secondary students.
Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging Economics lessons for classes IX to XII, aligning with the state board syllabus. Prepare study materials, assignments and assessments that develop analytical and critical thinking. Monitor student progress, maintain records and provide feedback to parents and senior staff. Participate in school events, co‑curricular activities and departmental meetings.
Qualification
Post‑graduate degree in Economics or related discipline with a valid B.Ed or D.El.Ed. Preference given to candidates who have cleared TET/CTET.
Experience
Minimum two years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably at the senior secondary level. Experience in using digital tools for classroom instruction is an advantage.
Compensation
Salary range Rs.34,000 – Rs.55,000 per month, payable monthly as per school policy.
Skills
Strong command of the English language and the ability to explain complex economic concepts simply. Good interpersonal skills for interacting with students, parents and colleagues. Proficiency in using computers and educational software for lesson preparation.
