Role
The PGT English Teacher will conduct classes for senior secondary students at Doon International School | Palia Kalan. This full‑time position is based in Palia, Lakhimpur Kheri and focuses on developing strong language skills and critical thinking.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging English curriculum for classes IX to XII, aligning with state board standards. Prepare lesson plans, assignments and assessments that encourage reading, writing and oral proficiency. Conduct remedial sessions and co‑ordinate with department heads for continuous improvement. Participate in school events, parent‑teacher meetings and extracurricular activities related to English literature and debate.
Requirements
Minimum four years of teaching experience in English at the senior secondary level. Must hold a postgraduate degree along with B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification; TET/CTET certification is preferred. Demonstrated ability to use interactive teaching aids and digital tools in the classroom. Good communication skills in English and Hindi, and familiarity with the local educational context of Uttar Pradesh.
Compensation
