PGT Physical Education Teacher Position at Royal Academy, Lalitpur
Royal Academy in Lalitpur seeks a dedicated PGT Physical Education Teacher to lead the school’s sports and fitness programs. This role ensures students develop physical skills, teamwork, and discipline while aligning with the institution’s focus on holistic education.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and conduct daily physical education classes covering athletics, gymnastics, swimming, and outdoor games. Design engaging lesson plans that integrate age-appropriate activities while ensuring safety and compliance with school policies.
Teach students sportsmanship, leadership, and healthy lifestyle habits through group and individual training sessions. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate physical education into broader curriculum goals, such as character-building and academic performance.
Monitor student participation in school sports events, tournaments, and extracurricular activities. Maintain equipment inventories, repair damaged gear, and ensure all facilities meet hygiene and safety standards.
Qualifications
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a specialization in Physical Education. Possess a graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Physical Education, Sports Science) as mandatory.
Experience teaching Physical Education for at least four years in schools is essential. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly valued for career progression.
Salary and Location
Attractive compensation of Rs.40,000 to Rs.70,000 per month is offered. The position is based in Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh, with a full-time commitment to Royal Academy’s academic and extracurricular programs.
