PRT (Pupil Teacher) for Environmental Studies at Royal Academy, Lalitpur
Royal Academy in Lalitpur is looking for a dedicated PRT to teach Environmental Studies to students. This role involves engaging young learners with hands-on activities, practical experiments, and eco-conscious discussions. The position offers a competitive salary of Rs.15,000 to Rs.30,000 per month and is based in Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh.
Daily Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging EVS lessons, ensuring students grasp key concepts like biodiversity, pollution, and sustainable practices. Prepare interactive activities such as group discussions, field trips, and simple experiments. Monitor student participation and provide immediate feedback to address understanding gaps. Maintain organized classroom materials and resources for EVS lessons.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Coordinate with the principal and subject coordinators to align EVS curriculum with Royal Academy’s broader educational goals. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate environmental themes into cross-subject learning, such as science and social studies. Participate in school events like science fairs, tree-planting drives, and awareness campaigns to promote environmental awareness. Keep parents informed about EVS achievements and challenges through regular updates.
Periodic Responsibilities
Assess student performance in EVS through periodic tests, projects, and observations to track progress. Attend teacher training sessions focused on EVS pedagogy and sustainable teaching methods. Represent the school in local environmental initiatives or community projects, if applicable.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in any field with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Four years of teaching experience, preferably in EVS or related subjects, is required. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, having these certifications will be an advantage. Familiarity with school-level environmental studies curricula is a plus.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will earn a monthly salary ranging from Rs.15,000 to Rs.30,000. This role is based in Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh, and offers a full-time position within Royal Academy’s school environment.
