Job Description
TGT Physics Teacher – Royal Academy, Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh
The school is looking for a full‑time TGT Physics Teacher to join Royal Academy in Lalitpur. The candidate will handle class‑room teaching, lab work and student mentorship for secondary level physics.
Daily responsibilities
- Conduct engaging physics lessons as per the prescribed curriculum, ensuring concepts are clear and practical.
- Prepare and supervise laboratory experiments, maintaining safety standards and equipment.
- Assess student understanding through quizzes, class activities and provide immediate feedback.
- Maintain attendance records and update daily teaching logs.
Regular responsibilities across the academic cycle
- Design and deliver periodic revision classes and remedial sessions for students needing extra help.
- Participate in department meetings, contribute to curriculum planning and share best practices.
- Organize and evaluate term‑end examinations, marking answer scripts and entering results.
- Liaise with parents during scheduled meetings to discuss student progress and address concerns.
Periodic responsibilities
- Lead physics workshops or science fairs during term breaks to promote experiential learning.
- Update and align teaching resources with the latest NCERT guidelines and board exam patterns.
- Contribute to school’s internal audit and accreditation processes related to science education.
Qualification and experience
- Graduate degree in Physics or related science.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed is essential; TET/CTET qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of teaching experience in a recognized school setting.
- Strong command of English and Hindi, with effective classroom management skills.
Salary and location
- Salary: Rs.20,000 – Rs.45,000 per month, commensurate with experience.
- Location: Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh.
