Royal Academy in Lalitpur seeks a dedicated TGT Social Science Teacher to guide students through key historical, political, and economic concepts. This role requires a strong command of social studies curriculum, tailored to meet the academic needs of Class 9 to 12 students. Your expertise will shape how students engage with topics like Indian history, geography, civics, and current affairs.
You will design and deliver engaging classroom lessons, ensuring alignment with CBSE syllabus and state education board guidelines. Daily teaching duties include explaining complex theories, facilitating discussions, and using interactive methods to boost understanding. Assess student progress through practical exams, projects, and periodic evaluations, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
Collaborate closely with the principal and subject coordinators to refine lesson plans, share best practices, and maintain high academic standards. Participate in school events, guest lectures, and extracurricular activities that reinforce social science learning. Maintain a structured schedule, ensuring timely preparation of teaching materials and attendance at mandatory faculty meetings.
To qualify, hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree along with a graduate degree in Social Science or a related field. Four years of teaching experience in social studies is essential. Salary for this full-time position is Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 45,000 per month, with opportunities for growth based on performance and institutional contributions.
