Role Summary
The Computer Lab Assistant position at City Montessori School in Lucknow ensures smooth lab operations and supports students with technical needs. This role plays a key part in maintaining the digital learning environment for over 5,000 students across 20 branches.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update computer hardware and software across all lab systems.
Assist students during scheduled lab sessions with troubleshooting and guidance.
Monitor lab usage and report any equipment malfunctions promptly.
Manage user accounts, logins, and access permissions for students and staff.
Keep inventory of lab supplies, software licenses, and peripheral devices.
Coordinate with IT vendors for repair, maintenance, and upgrades.
Train new students on basic lab etiquette and safety protocols.
Prepare lab reports on usage, maintenance, and any recurring issues.
Required Qualifications
Graduation in Computer Science, IT, or related field required.
Minimum 3 years of experience in computer lab management or technical support.
Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and common educational software.
Knowledge of networking basics and hardware maintenance preferred.
