If selected for HOD, you will oversee departmental budgets, resource allocation, and teacher training programs.
Qualifications and experience are key. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory, with a postgraduate qualification in English or a related field preferred. Three years of teaching experience in Foundation English or similar roles is essential, ideally in a school environment. While TET/CTET certifications are not mandatory, prior experience in curriculum development or teacher training would be highly valued.
