Position Summary

- Maintain inventory of instruments, sheet music, and audio‑visual equipment, arranging repairs and replacements as needed.
- Liaise with external vendors for music supplies, instrument rentals, and professional workshops.
- Prepare and monitor budgets for music activities, ensuring cost‑effective use of funds.
- Develop annual music activity calendars aligning with academic milestones and national celebrations.
- Represent the school at district‑level music conferences and collaborate with neighbouring institutions.
Administrative Duties
- Draft and update standard operating procedures for music events, safety protocols, and instrument care.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, event outcomes, and feedback for continuous improvement.
- Ensure all music‑related activities comply with school policies and local regulations.
- Facilitate communication between parents, students, and the school administration regarding music programmes.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree required.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed preferred; TET/CTET considered a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar administrative capacity within an educational setting.
Compensation
Salary offered: Rs.17,000 – Rs.35,000 per month.
