Role Summary
Delhi Public School | Shaheed Path is looking for an NTT English Teacher to join its early years team. The role focuses on nurturing language skills in young learners through interactive and digital methods. Experience with 2 to 3-year-old groups is essential.
Pedagogy and Tools
The school uses smart boards, Google Classroom, and a school-wide LMS for blended learning. Teachers integrate audio-visual aids and digital flashcards to make English lessons engaging. Regular tech refreshers keep the classroom environment updated.
What You Will Do
Plan daily English activities using phonics songs and storytelling on the smart board. Create and upload short videos for Google Classroom so parents can reinforce learning at home. Maintain digital attendance and progress sheets in the LMS. Conduct online parent-teacher meets through Zoom or Google Meet once a month. Design simple digital worksheets for pre-writing practice. Collaborate with the IT team to troubleshoot basic tech issues during class. Share weekly English vocabulary lists via WhatsApp groups for quick revision. Prepare monthly English corner displays using printed and digital materials.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduation is required. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory. Prior experience of at least 2 years in early childhood English teaching is necessary. Familiarity with TET or CTET is preferred but not mandatory. A calm and patient approach with toddlers is expected.
