Skd Academy is looking for a senior English teacher to lead the NTT English department in Lucknow. Day-to-Day Duties
Own the entire English curriculum for the NTT section, ensuring alignment with CBSE guidelines and local school expectations. Plan monthly themes, weekly lesson plans, and daily activities that build vocabulary, grammar, and creative expression in students aged 3 to 10. Regularly assess student progress through informal observations, oral tests, and written exercises, and maintain detailed records for parent-teacher meetings.
Mentor newly joined English teachers and teaching assistants in classroom management, storytelling techniques, and phonics-based instruction. Organize demonstration lessons and peer observations to raise teaching standards across the department. Collaborate with the art and music departments to design cross-curricular projects that reinforce language learning.
Monitor board exam trends for NTT students and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Prepare students for inter-school elocution and poetry recitation competitions held in Lucknow. Oversee the maintenance of the English resource corner, including graded readers, flashcards, and audio-visual aids.
Who Can Apply
