Non-Teaching Teacher (NTT) – Environmental Studies at King George Inter College, Lucknow
King George Inter College in Lucknow seeks a motivated NTT to lead Environmental Studies (Evs) in its academic programs. This role involves teaching high school students, designing curriculum-aligned lessons, and fostering hands-on learning experiences. The successful candidate will bring expertise in environmental science, sustainability, and practical applications of ecological concepts.
A strong research background is essential, with published work or relevant projects demonstrating expertise in environmental studies. Experience in field studies, conservation efforts, or policy-related research will be highly valued. The ideal candidate will also guide students through projects and experiments, ensuring engagement with real-world environmental challenges.
Leadership within the department is a key aspect of this position. The NTT will collaborate with teachers to refine teaching methods, coordinate extracurricular activities, and promote environmental awareness among students. Mentoring younger faculty or assisting in departmental planning will also be part of the responsibilities.
For this full-time role, a Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or a related field with at least 55% marks is required. NET/SET certification is mandatory, and a Ph.D. in environmental studies or a related discipline is preferred. With at least two years of teaching or research experience, candidates with a proven track record in environmental education will be ideal for this role.
