What You Will Do
Teach Environmental Studies (Evs) to Nursery and Lower Kindergarten students at Skd Academy. Prepare daily lesson plans that make Evs concepts simple and fun for young learners. Organize indoor and outdoor activities that build curiosity about nature and surroundings.
Conduct storytelling sessions focused on environmental themes. Use flashcards, puppets, and audio-visual aids to explain basic Evs topics. Assess student progress through observations and simple worksheets.
Collaborate with senior teachers to align Evs content with NTT learning outcomes. Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe learning environment for children. Participate in school events and parent-teacher meetings as required.
Required Qualifications
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. B.Ed or D.El.Ed with specialization in early childhood education. Preference will be given to candidates with TET or CTET certification.
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Evs for pre-primary or lower primary classes. Familiarity with NTT pedagogy and age-appropriate teaching methods. Good communication skills in Hindi and English.
Salary and Benefits
Rs.15,000 to Rs.30,000 per month based on experience and qualifications. Salary is negotiable for strong candidates with relevant expertise. Benefits include a supportive work culture and professional growth opportunities.
