Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate PGT Botany Teacher to join our faculty at Aps Academy in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. As a key member of our Science department, you will be responsible for teaching Botany to students from Class 10 to Class 12. Your expertise in the subject will enable you to design engaging lesson plans, assess student learning, and provide guidance to students.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver Botany lessons to students from Class 10 to Class 12
- Prepare and administer assessments to evaluate student understanding
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive curriculum for Botany
- Provide guidance and support to students in the subject
- Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in school events and activities related to Science education
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Botany research and education
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in Botany or a related field and a B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution. TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. A minimum of three years of teaching experience in a school setting is required. Your passion for Botany, commitment to student learning, and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues will make you an ideal candidate for this role.
Salary and Benefits
As a PGT Botany Teacher at Aps Academy, you will be offered a competitive salary of Rs.35,000 - Rs.50,000 per month.
