About This Role
As a PGT English Teacher at Delhi Public School | Shaheed Path, you will be part of a dynamic team of educators who are passionate about shaping the minds of young learners. Your expertise in English literature and language will help our students develop a deep appreciation for the subject and equip them with the skills to succeed in an increasingly complex and interconnected world.
What You Will Do
- Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Develop and implement innovative curricula and teaching methodologies that promote critical thinking and creativity.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Foster a love of reading and writing in our students, encouraging them to explore the world of literature.
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings to keep guardians informed about their child's progress.
- Participate in school events, such as literary festivals and book fairs, to promote English language and literature.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in English language teaching and learning, applying best practices in the classroom.
- Contribute to the development of English language materials and resources for the school.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree from a recognized Indian university.
- A minimum of three years of teaching experience in English at the PGT level.
- Strong subject knowledge and expertise in English literature and language.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with colleagues and students.
Salary and Benefits
