What You Will Do
Plan and deliver Fine Arts lessons for classes 9 to 12, aligning with CBSE guidelines and the school’s academic calendar.
Organize art exhibitions, workshops, and sketching sessions both inside and outside the classroom to enhance student creativity.
Assess student work through portfolios, practical assignments, and periodic reviews to track progress.
Collaborate with the art department to curate themes for annual art shows and cultural fests.
Encourage students to participate in national-level art competitions such as CBSE Expression Series and local events in Lucknow.
Maintain art supplies, storage, and display areas to ensure a well-organized and inspiring workspace.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress in Fine Arts through notes and parent-teacher meetings.
Contribute to school-wide initiatives such as Independence Day murals or Republic Day rangoli displays.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Fine Arts (MFA preferred) from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with Fine Arts specialization.
Prior experience of at least 2 years as a Fine Arts teacher in a senior secondary school.
Familiarity with CBSE art syllabus and assessment patterns is desirable.
