About This Role
We are looking for a motivated and experienced PGT History Teacher who can teach History to students from Class 6 to 12. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing feedback to improve learning outcomes. What You Will Do
- Design and deliver engaging lesson plans for History classes
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve learning outcomes
- Use a range of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles
- Develop and implement curriculum plans to meet the needs of students
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and effective curriculum
- Use technology to enhance teaching and learning
- Provide feedback and guidance to students on their assignments and projects
- Stay up-to-date with developments in History education and incorporate new ideas into the curriculum
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a postgraduate degree in History and a Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed) or a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). A CTET or TET certification is preferred but not essential. You should have at least three years of teaching experience in a school setting, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality lessons and supporting student progress.
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will be offered a salary of Rs.35,000 - Rs.50,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
