PGT History Teacher Job in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh | School Recruitment
Role Summary
Seth M.r.jaipuria School, a leading educational institution in Lucknow, aims to appoint a seasoned PGT History Teacher to join our faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching History to our students at the plus two level. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background and excellent teaching skills.
What You Will Do
1. Teach History to plus two students, focusing on in-depth understanding and analytical skills.
2. Prepare and deliver lesson plans, assessments, and exams as per the curriculum.
3. Conduct assessments and evaluate student performance to identify areas of improvement.
4. Develop and implement engaging classroom activities, projects, and discussions.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement curriculum reforms.
6. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
7. Supervise students during school hours, promoting a safe and supportive learning environment.
8. Participate in school events, such as parent-teacher meetings and cultural programs.
9. Stay updated with the latest developments in History education and curriculum changes.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
- B.Ed./D.El.Ed. degree from a recognized institution
- Postgraduate degree in History or a related field
- UGC-NET/CTET certification (not mandatory but preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good to Have
- Experience working with curriculum reforms and educational technology
- Familiarity with school management software and online resources
- Strong organizational and time management skills
