About This Role
We're seeking a motivated and experienced PGT Mathematics Teacher to join our team at Skd Academy in Lucknow. As a PGT Mathematics Teacher, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the mathematical skills and thinking of our students. You'll be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and contributing to the development of our Mathematics curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver lesson plans for Mathematics subjects at the plus two level
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve their understanding of mathematical concepts
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to engage students and promote critical thinking
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement Mathematics curriculum
- Conduct regular quizzes and exams to assess student progress
- Prepare students for Mathematics board exams
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress
- Participate in school events and activities related to Mathematics
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Mathematics education and incorporate new ideas into the curriculum
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you'll need to have a strong academic background in Mathematics, with a postgraduate degree in a relevant field. You should have a valid B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification, and a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mathematics teacher. TET or CTET certification is preferred but not essential.
