The responsibilities include:
Designing and implementing a comprehensive Physical Education curriculum tailored to students’ age groups, ensuring alignment with Uttar Pradesh Board guidelines.
Organizing weekly sports events like cricket, basketball, and track-and-field competitions, fostering teamwork and sportsmanship.
Teaching fundamental techniques in sports like football, volleyball, and athletics, with hands-on training sessions.
Maintaining and updating sports equipment inventory, ensuring all facilities are well-maintained for student use.
Supervising extracurricular sports clubs, including badminton, swimming, and martial arts, to encourage holistic development.
Collaborating with school management to plan annual sports festivals and inter-house competitions.
Assisting in organizing school events like sports day, where your leadership in coaching and judging will be critical.
Ensuring compliance with school safety protocols during outdoor activities, especially in rain or extreme weather.
Incorporating technology in Physical Education, such as using sports apps for tracking performance metrics and virtual coaching tools.
Actively engaging with parents through sports parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and participation.
For this PGT Physical Education Teacher position in Sadar, Lucknow, candidates with a postgraduate qualification in Physical Education, B.Ed, or D.El.Ed are required. Four years of relevant teaching experience in Physical Education or related sports coaching is mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be highly beneficial. The salary for this full-time role is Rs.40,000 - Rs.50,000 per month, with opportunities for career growth in a dynamic school environment.
