About This Role
Aps Academy invites applications for a senior Physics teaching position in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The role is designed for an experienced educator to lead the Physics department and guide students toward academic excellence. Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging Physics lessons aligned with CBSE/ICSE standards for Classes 11 and 12. Develop and implement laboratory experiments that enhance practical understanding of concepts like mechanics, thermodynamics, and electromagnetism. Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide timely feedback to parents and management.
Plan and execute weekly tests, term exams, and revision sessions to prepare students for competitive exams and board assessments. Mentor and train junior Physics teachers in modern teaching methodologies and classroom management techniques. Organize inter-house science quizzes, Olympiad training camps, and parent-teacher workshops on Physics-related topics.
Analyze board exam trends and adjust teaching strategies to improve pass percentages and merit list rankings. Collaborate with the academic coordinator to integrate technology such as simulations and virtual labs into Physics instruction. Represent the department in school events, parent meetings, and inter-school academic competitions.
Who Can Apply
Postgraduate in Physics with a minimum of five years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level in a recognized school. B.Ed degree is mandatory, and D.El.Ed holders with relevant experience may also apply. Candidates holding TET/CTET certification will be given preference during selection.
NET or SET qualified candidates with Physics specialization are encouraged to apply. Fluency in English and Hindi is essential, and knowledge of local dialects is beneficial. Experience in coaching students for JEE Main, NEET, or similar competitive exams is highly valued.
