Role Introduction
Maharaja Agrasen Public School in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh is hiring a full‑time PGT Psychology Teacher. The candidate will deliver Psychology lessons to senior classes and contribute to the school’s academic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Psychology lessons for classes XI and XII in accordance with the school curriculum.
Assess student performance through quizzes, assignments and examinations, providing constructive feedback and remedial support where needed.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades and student progress, and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
Participate in departmental meetings, school events and extracurricular activities related to Psychology and overall student development.
Assist in developing and updating the Psychology syllabus and teaching resources to keep content current and relevant.
Support the school’s co‑curricular programs, counseling initiatives and career guidance sessions as required.
Qualifications and Experience
Post‑graduate degree in Psychology with B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification.
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the PGT level in a recognized school.
TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire and manage senior students.
Salary, Location and Application
Salary: Rs.35,000 – Rs.45,000 per month.
Location: Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
