About This Role
Skd Academy is looking for a Post Graduate Trained Psychology Teacher to join its full-time faculty in Lucknow. The role involves teaching senior secondary students and shaping their understanding of human behavior and mental processes. Applicants should have at least two years of Psychology teaching experience in a school environment.
Classroom Profile
The Psychology classroom at Skd Academy includes students from diverse backgrounds, learning levels, and abilities. The teacher will create an inclusive Lucknow classroom where every learner feels supported. Local student experiences and regional examples are integrated into lessons to make concepts relatable.
Day-to-Day Duties
Plan and deliver Psychology lessons for Classes XI and XII as per the CBSE curriculum.
Use differentiated instruction to address varied learning styles in the classroom.
Prepare and update teaching materials, including worksheets and case studies.
Organize periodic assessments and provide timely feedback to students.
Support students with special needs through adapted teaching strategies.
Conduct interactive sessions on stress management and emotional well-being.
Collaborate with counselors and subject teachers for holistic student development.
Maintain records of attendance, assignments, and student progress reports.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Psychology with a minimum of 55% marks.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
Valid CTET or TET certificate preferred but not mandatory.
Minimum two years of Psychology teaching experience in a school.
Preferred Skills
Strong command of inclusive pedagogy and differentiated teaching methods.
Patience and emotional intelligence to handle diverse student needs.
Clear communication and active listening skills for effective classroom management.
