The PRT Art And Craft Teacher will design and implement engaging lesson plans that incorporate local craft traditions, such as block printing or pottery, while also introducing contemporary art forms. The teacher will assess students’ progress through creative portfolios and informal evaluations, ensuring each child’s artistic growth is recognized. Field trips to local workshops or cultural centers may also be organized to enhance learning experiences.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with a focus on art education. A graduate degree in arts or related fields is preferred. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an advantage. The successful candidate should have at least one year of teaching experience, preferably in an elementary school setting. Experience with inclusive teaching methods and working with diverse student backgrounds is a plus.
