Key Responsibilities:
1. Teach Computer Science subjects including programming languages like Python, Java, or C++, aligning with CBSE/ICSE curriculum standards.
2. Design and implement engaging lesson plans, practical projects, and interactive workshops to enhance student understanding.
3. Assess students’ progress through regular exams, quizzes, and project evaluations while maintaining a supportive learning environment.
4. Collaborate with the school’s technology department to integrate modern tools like coding platforms, virtual labs, and hardware for practical demonstrations.
5. Mentor students individually or in small groups to address challenges in coding concepts and problem-solving techniques.
6. Ensure compliance with school policies on digital safety, cyber ethics, and responsible online behavior.
7. Participate in school events like hackathons, coding competitions, and tech fairs to promote computer science interests among students.
8. Maintain updated lesson materials, textbooks, and teaching aids to support effective classroom instruction.
Candidates must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a minimum of two years of teaching experience, preferably in Computer Science or related subjects. A graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field is required. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly beneficial for this role. Experience in teaching students from classes 6 to 12 is preferred.
