How You Will Teach

Emphasis will be on making technology relatable through everyday examples from students’ surroundings in Lucknow.
Day-to-Day Duties
Plan and deliver weekly Computer Science lessons aligned with the school’s academic calendar for Classes 1 to 5. Prepare low-cost teaching aids using recycled materials to demonstrate hardware components and their functions. Organize monthly coding clubs where students create simple animations or quizzes under your guidance.
Assess student progress through observation and small project submissions rather than formal tests. Maintain the school’s two computer labs with support from the IT team, ensuring all systems are functional for daily use. Collaborate with PRT colleagues to integrate Computer Science themes across subjects like Mathematics and EVS.
Prepare teaching resources including worksheets, flashcards, and short instructional videos in Hindi and English. Conduct parent orientation sessions twice a year to explain the importance of early Computer Science exposure.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from a recognized university. Must hold B.Ed or D.El.Ed with specialization or elective in Computer Science. Prior experience of at least 2 years in teaching Computer Science at primary level preferred.
