Role Summary
Delhi Public School | Shaheed Path, a renowned school in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, invites applications for the position of a PRT Dance Teacher. This is a senior-level role, and we are looking for a highly experienced dance professional to lead our dance department.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach dance to students of various age groups, including primary and secondary levels
- Develop and implement dance curricula, including syllabus planning, lesson planning, and assessment
- Coach students for board exams and other dance competitions
- Develop and maintain relationships with dance organizations and institutions in Lucknow
- Conduct regular parent-teacher meetings and maintain a student-friendly classroom environment
- Participate in curriculum development and improvement activities
- Collaborate with other teachers to create interdisciplinary learning experiences
- Maintain records of student progress and attendance
- Perform administrative tasks, such as updating student records and preparing reports
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Dance or related field
- B.Ed./D.El.Ed. qualification is mandatory for teaching positions
- Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching dance, preferably in a school setting
- TET/CTET qualified candidates will be given preference
- Fluency in Hindi and English languages is required
