Role
Maharaja Agrasen Public School in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh is hiring a PRT English Teacher on a full‑time basis. The position is for a primary level English teacher handling classes I to V.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the school curriculum and state guidelines. Conduct interactive activities to develop reading, writing, listening and speaking skills among young learners. Assess student progress through classwork, worksheets and periodic tests, providing feedback to students and parents. Maintain classroom discipline and create a supportive learning environment. Participate in staff meetings, parent‑teacher interactions and school events as required.
Requirements
Graduate degree in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Minimum two years of teaching experience at the primary level. Familiarity with TET/CTET is preferred but not mandatory. Good command of spoken and written English, along with effective classroom management skills. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and adapt teaching methods to diverse learner needs.
Compensation
The salary offered is Rs.15,000 – Rs.22,000 per month, payable as per the school’s standard payroll schedule. Other statutory benefits applicable to full‑time teaching staff will be provided.
