Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for classes 6 to 10, aligning with the state curriculum.
2. Design assessments, evaluate student progress, and provide constructive feedback.
3. Facilitate classroom activities that promote reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
4. Maintain accurate attendance, marks, and student records in the school database.
5. Mentor and support junior teachers and interns in instructional strategies.
6. Participate in school meetings, parent‑teacher conferences, and extracurricular events.
7. Collaborate with the curriculum team to update teaching materials and resources.
8. Ensure a safe, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment.
Qualification and experience
Graduate with B.Ed or D.El.Ed mandatory; TET/CTET preferred. Minimum 3 years of classroom experience in a secondary school setting. Proven ability to use modern teaching aids and technology in instruction. Strong communication skills and a passion for student development are essential.
Salary and location
