As a Mathematics Teacher in Lucknow, you will work with students who have different learning needs and abilities, and you will be expected to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. You will teach Mathematics to students in grades 1-5, using a range of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver Mathematics lessons to students in grades 1-5, using a range of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and nurtured.
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
- Use technology to enhance Mathematics learning, such as mathematics software and online resources.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop Mathematics curriculum and assessments.
- Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress and Mathematics learning.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance Mathematics teaching skills.
- Develop and implement Mathematics learning resources, such as worksheets and activities.
- Support students with Mathematics-related difficulties.
Required Qualifications
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized university.
- TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- 2 years of experience in teaching Mathematics to students in grades 1-5.
