PRT Sanskrit Teacher Role at Heeralal Yadav Public School
This position is for a Primary Class Teacher (PRT) to teach Sanskrit at Heeralal Yadav Public School in Sarojani Nagar, Lucknow. You will be responsible for delivering foundational Sanskrit education to students in the primary section, ensuring they grasp classical grammar, basic vocabulary, and cultural significance through age-appropriate methods.
In this role, you will prepare lesson plans that blend traditional teachings with modern pedagogical techniques. Daily duties include conducting grammar drills, storytelling in Sanskrit, and introducing Vedic concepts in simple ways. You’ll also assist in organizing extracurricular activities like recitation competitions and cultural events that highlight Sanskrit’s role in Indian heritage.
To qualify, you must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Sanskrit or an equivalent subject, along with a Bachelor’s in Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). A Teaching Eligibility Test (TET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is preferred but not mandatory.
For this role, three years of teaching experience in Sanskrit or related subjects is expected, preferably in a primary school setting. Experience in engaging young learners with classical languages and adapting content for diverse learning levels would be beneficial.
