Role Summary
As a PRT Science Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Science to classes from VI to X. Your role will be to develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide feedback to parents. You will be part of a supportive team that is committed to delivering high-quality education to students.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver lessons to students, using a range of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles
- Assess student progress, identify areas of improvement, and develop strategies to address these
- Use a variety of teaching aids, including textbooks, multimedia resources, and hands-on experiments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance
- Prepare students for Science Olympiads and other competitive exams
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver curriculum-aligned activities
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure student success
- Stay up-to-date with developments in Science and Education
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in Science or related field and a B.Ed./D.El.Ed. degree. You should have at least 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting. Knowledge of TET/CTET is preferred but not mandatory.
