Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons aligned with the Uttar Pradesh curriculum, ensuring age-appropriate content for students in grades 1-5. Maintain a safe and well-equipped lab or classroom space for hands-on learning activities.
Teach fundamental concepts in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, adapting explanations to cater to diverse learning levels. Collaborate with the Science faculty to refine teaching methods and share best practices. Assess student progress through continuous evaluation, using formative and summative assessments to track understanding and improvement.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Participate in school-wide events, science fairs, and inter-school competitions to foster curiosity and teamwork. Keep parents informed about student achievements and areas needing support through regular updates. Ensure compliance with school policies on safety, hygiene, and classroom management.
Qualifications and Experience:
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Science with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. A TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory. Minimum 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in a primary school setting. Strong communication skills in English and Hindi are essential.
