Daily responsibilities include conducting interactive science lessons, preparing engaging classroom activities, and ensuring students grasp fundamental scientific concepts through experiments and demonstrations. Daily classroom management, maintaining a safe and organized lab space, and addressing student queries during lessons are also key tasks. Ensuring students follow lab safety protocols and assisting with simple lab setups are part of the daily routine.
Regular responsibilities across the academic cycle involve developing lesson plans that integrate Montessori principles with modern scientific methods. Collaborating with the science department to update teaching resources and materials is essential. Organizing periodic science fairs or workshops to encourage hands-on learning among students is also part of the ongoing duties. Reviewing student progress in science subjects and providing constructive feedback is a consistent responsibility.
Periodic responsibilities include participating in school-wide science events or competitions, preparing annual science curriculum reviews, and ensuring compliance with school policies regarding lab safety and equipment maintenance. Conducting parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress in science is another important periodic task.
The ideal candidate will hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree and possess a graduate degree in Science with at least two years of teaching experience. A TET or CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory. The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.14,000 to Rs.25,000 per month, along with the opportunity to work in a vibrant, child-centered environment in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
