You’ll also conduct interactive sessions, use visual aids like maps and timelines, and encourage group discussions to make Social Science engaging.
Teaching assessment will include continuous evaluation through quizzes, projects, and field trips to local historical sites or markets, where students can explore history firsthand. Maintaining parent-teacher interactions is crucial—you’ll organize workshops or meet-ups to share insights on students’ progress and connect with families. Classroom management will require patience and adaptability, especially when handling diverse learning needs.
A strong foundation in Social Science with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is essential, along with a graduate degree in relevant subjects like History, Geography, or Political Science. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in Social Science, will be highly beneficial. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this role.
