Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging Social Science lessons to PRT classes, covering history, civics, geography and environmental studies.
Prepare lesson plans aligned with the state curriculum and conduct regular assessments to track student progress.
Maintain classroom discipline, create a supportive learning environment and provide constructive feedback to students.
Communicate student performance and any concerns to parents during meetings or through school notices.
Collaborate with the Social Science department and senior teachers for curriculum updates and co‑ordinated activities.
Qualifications
Graduate degree with B.Ed or D.El.Ed in Social Science or a related discipline.
TET / CTET certification preferred.
Good command of English and Hindi for effective instruction and communication.
Preferred Attributes
Familiarity with the Uttar Pradesh school system and its assessment patterns.
Ability to use basic teaching aids and incorporate local cultural references into lessons.
Enthusiasm for fostering critical thinking and civic awareness among young learners.
