You will be working in a vibrant and dynamic classroom setting with students from grades VI to X. As a PRT Social Science Teacher at Seth M.r.jaipuria School, you will be expected to develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Social Science lessons to students from grades VI to X
- Develop and implement assessment strategies to evaluate student progress and understanding
- Create a conducive learning environment that promotes active participation and critical thinking
- Foster a growth mindset in students and encourage them to take risks and explore new ideas
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities
- Stay updated with curriculum changes and adapt lesson plans accordingly
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Communicate effectively with parents and stakeholders regarding student progress
- Participate in school events and activities that promote Social Science awareness and appreciation
- Develop and implement strategies to cater to the diverse needs of students with special needs
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Social Science or related field from a recognized university
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution
- TET/CTET certification (not mandatory, but preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in Social Science
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in developing and implementing curriculum-based projects
- Familiarity with digital resources and technology integration in the classroom
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative lesson plans
- Strong commitment to student-centered learning and inclusive education
