Tennis Coach Job in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh | School Vacancy
About This Role
The Tennis Coach position at Vedam World School is designed to nurture students’ sporting talent while maintaining the school’s reputation for excellence in co-curricular activities. This role requires a dynamic individual who can plan, execute, and oversee tennis training programs for students aged 8 to 16. The coach will report directly to the Head of Sports and contribute to the school’s overall sports administration.
What You Will Do
Organize daily tennis practice sessions for students as per the school’s sports calendar.
Plan and conduct inter-house and inter-school tennis tournaments at Vedam World School.
Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and progress in tennis.
Coordinate with the sports department to integrate tennis training with the school’s physical education goals.
Ensure all tennis equipment and court facilities are in proper condition before every session.
Collaborate with the school’s administrative team to promote sports scholarships and talent recognition.
Attend monthly meetings with the sports coordinator to discuss training improvements.
Represent Vedam World School at local tennis associations and inter-school competitions.
Who Can Apply
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience coaching tennis in schools or sports academies.
Familiarity with Indian school sports culture and student engagement strategies.
Good to Have
Postgraduate degree in Sports Management or Coaching from a recognized institution.
Experience organizing tennis events in Lucknow or nearby regions.
Knowledge of sports administration and talent scouting practices.
Skills We Value
Strong leadership to guide students and junior coaches during training.
Effective communication to interact with parents, school staff, and sports officials.

What You Get
Salary for this position ranges from Rs.17,000 to Rs.30,000 per month, based on experience and qualifications.
