Position summary
The role is a full‑time TGT Chemistry Teacher at Lucknow International Academy | Lucknow, responsible for delivering high quality chemistry instruction to students in the school’s science stream. The teacher will design engaging lessons, conduct laboratory work, and assess student progress while fostering a safe and interactive learning environment.
Reporting and scope
The position reports directly to the Head of Science.
Core duties
Curriculum delivery and lesson planning
Prepare and execute lesson plans aligned with the Uttar Pradesh curriculum, ensuring clarity of concepts and relevance to exam patterns.
Laboratory instruction and safety
Set up experiments, supervise students during practical sessions, and maintain laboratory safety protocols.
Student assessment and progress monitoring
Create quizzes, tests, and assignments; evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
Mentoring and guidance
Support students in developing study habits, resolve academic queries, and encourage participation in science clubs and competitions.
Professional development and collaboration
Attend faculty meetings, contribute to curriculum review, and collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate interdisciplinary projects.
Administrative duties
Maintain accurate attendance records, submit reports on student progress, and adhere to school policies.
Qualification and experience
Post‑graduate degree in Chemistry or related field.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed mandatory; TET/CTET preferred.
Minimum 4 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
Compensation and location
Salary: Rs.25,000 – Rs.45,000 per month.
Location: Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
