About This Role
Skd Academy in Lucknow invites applications for the position of TGT Computer Science Teacher. The role is designed for an experienced educator who can lead the Computer Science curriculum for middle school students. This is a full-time position with opportunities to shape academic standards and student outcomes in one of Lucknow’s leading schools.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver the Computer Science syllabus for TGT classes as per CBSE guidelines. Prepare students for practical exams, internal assessments, and board-level evaluations with structured lesson plans. Lead curriculum planning, resource development, and periodic assessments for Classes 6 to 8.
Conduct remedial classes and mentor students who need extra support in programming concepts and digital literacy. Coach students for inter-school coding competitions and hackathons to enhance practical exposure. Organize school-level IT fairs and tech exhibitions to showcase student projects.
Collaborate with the school management to align Computer Science teaching with national educational goals. Provide feedback to parents during PTMs and maintain accurate records of student progress in theory and practical work.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Computer Science or related field with minimum 3 years of teaching experience at TGT level. B.Ed degree is mandatory for this role. Preference will be given to candidates with CTET or TET certification in Computer Science.
Experience in teaching CBSE Computer Science curriculum and handling practical lab sessions is essential. Knowledge of Python, Scratch, and basic networking concepts is preferred for this role.
