Responsibilities
Design and deliver the Mathematics curriculum for senior secondary classes, ensuring alignment with UGC‑NET standards and state board guidelines. Conduct lectures, tutorials and practical sessions that foster analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills. Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids and assessment tools, and evaluate student performance through regular tests, assignments and examinations. Provide academic counselling, address student queries, and mentor those preparing for competitive exams such as JEE and NTSE. Participate in departmental meetings, contribute to curriculum review, and collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects.
Requirements
Minimum two years of teaching experience at the college level, preferably in senior secondary or undergraduate mathematics courses. Must hold a postgraduate degree in Mathematics or a related field with at least 55% marks. NET/SET qualification is mandatory; Ph.D. is preferred but not essential. Demonstrated ability to use digital teaching tools and manage virtual classrooms is an advantage. Strong communication skills in English and Hindi, and a proven track record of improving student outcomes, are required.
Salary and Benefits
