The reality of this role
Day‑to‑day work involves delivering engaging lessons to classes VI to VIII, preparing worksheets, and guiding students through problem sets. What you will actually do
1. Plan and teach curriculum‑aligned lessons in Mathematics for grades VI to VIII.
2. Create and distribute worksheets, quizzes, and practical activity sheets.
3. Conduct formative assessments and provide constructive feedback.
4. Monitor student attendance and maintain attendance records.
5. Participate in departmental meetings to discuss curriculum updates.
6. Use classroom technology to illustrate concepts where possible.
7. Coordinate with parents during progress meetings.
8. Maintain classroom discipline and foster a respectful atmosphere.
Who can do this job
Post‑graduate degree in Mathematics or related field. B.Ed or D.El.Ed required. Minimum 3 years teaching experience in a school setting. TET/CTET is preferred but not mandatory.
