Teaching Physical Education at Maharaja Agrasen Public School means shaping young minds through dynamic sports, fitness routines, and teamwork. Your daily work involves leading outdoor activities, indoor drills, and health-related lessons that keep students engaged while developing their physical skills. The school expects you to inspire confidence in students through structured games, sportsmanship, and adaptable training methods.
This role focuses on delivering age-appropriate physical education across various grades. You’ll plan and execute lessons that align with curriculum guidelines, covering sports like football, basketball, cricket, and athletics. Lessons also include basic fitness training, nutrition awareness, and life skills tied to health. Your teaching style should balance competition with cooperation, ensuring every student feels included.
Assessment in this role is hands-on. You’ll monitor students’ progress through participation records, skill evaluations, and team performance metrics. Weekly reports on activity attendance and skill improvement will be required to track overall development. Small-group coaching sessions help identify strengths and areas needing reinforcement, ensuring every student progresses.
To qualify, you must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Physical Education or a related field. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in Physical Education, is mandatory. While TET/CTET certificates are not mandatory for this position, they will be considered favorably if held.
