TGT Physical Education Teacher Job in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh | School Recruitment
This role at Mount Litera Zee School means designing and leading daily Physical Education classes for students, blending sports, fitness, and discipline. You’ll work with kids aged 10 to 18, adapting drills, games, and activities to keep them engaged while building their physical skills. You’ll plan and conduct morning and afternoon PE sessions, often in partnership with other teachers. Prepare lesson plans covering basic sports techniques, teamwork, and health benefits of exercise. Organize field trips to local sports grounds or gyms to enhance practical learning. Keep records of student participation and attendance in PE activities. Assist in organizing school sports days and annual events like the annual sports meet. Ensure all students follow hygiene and safety protocols during physical activities. Work closely with the principal and staff to integrate PE into the school curriculum effectively.
For this TGT Physical Education Teacher position, you must have a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with at least three years of teaching experience in Physical Education. A postgraduate qualification in Physical Education or related field is preferred. TET or CTET certification is not mandatory but highly recommended.
A passion for sports and fitness is essential, along with patience to handle energetic students. Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate young athletes are crucial. Experience in coaching or managing sports teams would be an asset. A positive attitude and commitment to creating a fun yet disciplined learning environment matter most.
